Snow on the way to beat up Colorado!!!!!!

Good morning, snow is on the way here in Colorado this morning.
All the news stations are saying one to two feet of snow. That's cool!
The wife gets the day off just cuz she is a teacher. Me no way my boss would say "Lets take the day off!"
I can hear him now "It is retail Guy's let get after it, it is only snow"
But heck we do need the snow and the water that it brings as this is one of the driest years on record.
Now that we have the new camera we will post some pictures through out the day on what we really get today. (Back yard pictures or pictures from work)
If you have never seen snow this could be the day!
I all ways say I wanted to Be a weather guy on the news. Why you ask?
Well think about it. You get to guess on the weather, make great bank and your on TV every day. Never have to say "oops we missed the weather"
LOL I know but it would be fun.
We will see today how right the weather folks are today.

Doing the blog thing............

I know you say to yourself "Self?" Does ChrisP really have a clue on what he is doing with this Blog thing? Don't feel bad I ask myself all the time.

Aurora Colorado Roads

I wonder sometimes who was the bright guy that put our roads together in Aurora,CO?
Why is it that when we repave our roads we don't make the manhole covers the same height as the road it self? 80% of all the manhole covers are 1.7 inches below the surface of the road. :(
Note: 50% of all statistics are made up! lol
Does the city have some kind of deal with the alignment places? Kick back or something? Oh and why is every manhole cover on any 3 lane road right where my tire goes? Could we not we put the manhole cover like in the middle of the lane?
But then again some of this stuff makes to much sense to do things right. After all it is the city of Aurora who thinks these things out. I just live here and pay taxes, not my job to show the city who to do things, or to do things right.
I Have try ed to cal our mayor a few times just ask him some of the things that make me wonder, but he is way to busy to take my call. He has people for that! It could be he is just busy thinking of a new road to put in a new manhole cover! Or he is at the auto repair place getting a front end alignment?
In whole the City of Aurora is a great place to live, work and play but I just wonder sometimes who thinks of where to place a manhole covers?
